Note that, In line with the Majorana Centre’s policy for all courses, in order to attend WQED23 each attendee is requested to pay a daily fee of Euro 150 (details on the payment method will be provided later).
Note that this daily fee (one for each night) covers:
- accommodation
- all the meals of the day
- coffee breaks
- social dinner
- a half-day touristic tour
- transfer to/from Palermo or Trapani airport on the first and last day of the conference, namely Monday 8 May and Saturday 13 May, respectively
- Marsala wine and Sicilian almond pastries every night (at "Marsala room").

We kindly ask you to please let us know the details of your stay no later than Sunday 23 April, in particular day, time, flight number, and airport (Palermo or Trapani) of your arrival and departure using this form:

We also require your phone number in case of flight delays/inconvenience etc.
This is indispensable in order for the Centre to properly arrange transfers to/from the airport. The 23 April deadline is strict: if you send the above data late, the transfer service will not be guaranteed.
The Center will group those of you arriving at similar times, therefore you may need to be waiting a little bit for the shuttle. The drive from/to Palermo Airport takes about an hour and the one from/to Trapani airport (Birgi) is about 45 mins.

Once you arrive at the Majorana Center in Erice (even at a late time), you will be registered by showing, in particular, a paper copy of the fee payment receipt (see next point "Fee payment"). They will then give you a room in a nearby hotel or building. If necessary, someone will accompany you to the place. Erice is a very small village as you will see, so the walk will be short.
